Company History

Huckleberry Landscape Design Started in 2004 after the founder, Anne Kulla, graduated from the Horticulture program at Kwantlen (then) College. Anne spent the early days doing some landscape maintenance and installation projects on a part time while her kids were in school.

2006 joined the BC Landscape and Nursery Association, volunteered to be on the Landscape Advisory Committee for many years (still active). Landscape Chairperson for 4 years as part of the board of directors. In 2007, Anne began doing arborist reporting work.

Huckleberry Landscape Design Became a Full time operation in 2008, servicing homeowners throughout the Fraser Valley.

As the business grew, Anne found it busy enough to hire her first employee and has been adding a new employee every year since.
The business continued to grow, through word of mouth as Huckleberry Landscape Design provided excellent service, a wealth of knowledge, and first rate reliability to every client.

While we Specialize on “smaller” projects, the opportunities that many other landscape companies consider too small to bother with, We have grown to 6 full-time employees and are now able to take on larger scale projects while still taking care of our existing residential clients.

Today Huckleberry Landscape Design is truly a family run business, as Victor Kulla has joined the company. He oversees landscape maintenance, design, installation, and arborist reporting.
